Spanish Asturias Plans Roma School Education 16. 8. 2005
The city government of Langreo, which is situated in the Asturias region
in the Northern part of Spain, decided to finance an ‘integration plan’
for Roma children’s education.

—-Slovak Roma Political Party Now Registered 15. 8. 2005
The newly re-emerged Roma Initiative Party (ROI) in Slovakia has
completed the required registration process and will be participating in
this year’s regional elections. As Roma Press Agency Slovakia informed
Dzeno, the ROI will hold its second all-Slovakian congress on August 27,
where 150 registered deligates will decide on a new logo for the party
and confirm both its leadership and its program for the up-coming
elections.

The Romanian Government has decided that it will now withhold the
passport of any citizen that returns to Romania after the expiration of
the 90-day visa allowed by law. This new procedure might be a problem
